Daddy, You Receive Me

Faithful Father

In Your embrace
My Father
Tremblingly, I come
To hide within Your welcome,
To stay
Until my heart’s at rest.
Give me the child-like faith
To stay
To trust
My DAD,
So present
And so comforting…
Father,
I choose to rest
In You today.

Irresistible
Is Your outstretched hand to me
Bidding me to come,
Standing forever
Welcoming me…
I yield
To Your warm embrace
And find myself
At home.
