Faithful Father
Daddy, You Receive Me
Disabled
Daddy, You Receive Me
DADDY You receive me Just as I am;
To You
I am enough
Just as I am;
All my personality
And unique idiosyncrasies
You know
And treasure
And whisper gently
That
I’m the one
You planned me to be.
DADDY, only You,
With the power
Of Your loving-kindness,
Are prepared
To burst volcanically
Into my world
And
Out the other side,
Disregarding
My feverish clutching
Of
Crumbling securities,
To lead me out
From under the rubble
Into
The light and colour
Of
A new countryside.
