Faithful Father
Daddy, You Receive Me
Disabled
Disabled
DADDY,
Here I am
Safe
In Your arms,
As You tread the journey
Of Your desire.
Weak and disabled
As I am,
Your arms of love
Surround me.
With You
I pass changing scenery,
Scale uncharted heights,
Cross impossible terrain,
Enfolded in your ability,
Safe
In Your arms.
You take the bruises,
Scratches
And relentless effort
Of the journey –
Yours are the muscles
That takes the strain
Striding on and on.
I get to gaze at the sunset,
Watch the breakers roll
And fix my eyes for hours
On Yours,
Unchangingly speaking
Their love,
From deep within Your heart
To mine.
