IN CHRIST
A very common phrase in Paul’s letters is “in Christ”. The letter to the Ephesians is one of the books where he uses this phrase several times:
- We are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ
- We are chosen in Him
- In Him we have been redeemed
- We are made alive with Him
- He has seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ
As I have been meditating on this over the summer I found some understanding to the importance of this phrase in John 14:20 – “On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you”.
Jesus tells his disciples that he is in the Father and that they are in him. If we are in Christ then we are also in the Father and verse 23 of the same chapter should come as no surprise. “Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” He has made His home with us!
Jesus is in that secure place of rest, constantly in Father’s presence. We, too, can enter into that same place of rest and peace knowing that we are “in Him”.
My prayer is that the phrase “in Christ” becomes an experiential reality to us.

 Over the last week our new video “A Father to You – God’s Desire to Bring You Home” has been uploaded to the website. This is a four minute presentation showing the constant love of the Father who always wants to bring us back home even when we rebel and go our own way. Please feel free to view this online or download it to your computer.
We believe that this will be a powerful tool to show the heart of the Father to a fatherless world. Our prayer is that many find His love through this as they watch it online or download it.
GOING DEEPER IN FATHER’S LOVE
In November we are hosting our first weekend conference – “Going Deeper in Father’s Love”. We are privileged to be working with Jeff and Sylvia Scaldwell of Father’s House Europe for this weekend. The conference is being held in Abingdon, Oxfordshire and it starts at 7.45pm on Friday 11 th November and runs through Saturday 12 th November.
