Welcome Home
A series of short teaching videos which will help you on your journey home to the Father. I would suggest watching these videos in order as that will give you the big picture of a Father who loves you and who wants to be a Father to YOU. Together they show how we can experience the Father's love and live as sons and daughters.

1. A Desire and A Promise

In this short video Mark explains how God, the perfect Father, has always had a desire for a family that would bring him pleasure. How that family would be like his son Jesus and how we can enjoy the same intimate relationship as the Trinity.

This desire is satisfied by a very simple promise "I will be a Father to YOU" (2 Corinthians 6:18).

2. God, Our Real Father

In this short video Mark explains how God is our real Father. He designed and planned each one of us before we were conceived in our Mother's womb. Sin may have ruined things but God wanted and planned each one of us. None of us is a mistake to him.

3. The Story of the Lost Sons

In Luke 15 Jesus tells a story of two sons, both were lost and needed to come back to their Father. We know one son came home but Jesus leaves the story open-ended so far as the older son is concerned. We, too, need to come home to our Father and experience him loving us every day of our lives.

4. Redeeming the orphan heart

In this short video we see the orphan heart that fell upon humanity when Adam and his wife chose independence and walked out of the Father's love. Throughout the Old Testament we hear a cry from the Father as he longs for reconciliation and restoration of relationship. That came through Jesus. As we come to live in the same love as Jesus we discover we are no longer orphans but can live as sons and daughters to the Father. He wants to be a Father to YOU.

5. Forgiveness from the heart

Unforgiveness is one of the biggest blockages to us receiving the Father's love. In Matthew 18 Jesus told the story of a King who forgave his servant and out of this story we are encouraged to look at our own hearts and forgive those who have wounded or hurt us, recognising that we have lost something we can't back. As we forgive so too we need to have compassion and pity on those who've hurt us. This, Jesus says, is forgiveness from the heart.
